The Hillside Story

In May 2004, Kim, our family, & I set out to launch a life-giving church in Clackamas Oregon that would help to transform our community. Building a small team from scratch, it took us three months to launch Hillside Christian Fellowship.  The dream became a reality on August 8, 2004 when 36 people attended our first public Sunday service in our living/dinning room.  Six weeks later we moved to Sunnyside Elementary School with over 50 people in attendance for our first Sunday there.

Since the launch of Hillside we have seen God truly do “immeasurably more than we could ask or imagine”. Our fellowship has continued to grow and continued to keep its mission of reaching people, ministering to the marginalized, serving our communities, launching campuses and advancing the Gospel globally.  

We look forward to getting to know you more and growing together. God has amazing things in store for our future. We hope you will catch our vision and join us in our mission to reach the world.
